Lauren Pelissier’s, founder of 42West, commitment to community and giving back runs deep. From her years of working with underserved populations across the country to her personal passion for philanthropy, she has always believed in the power of giving. That’s why when she founded 42West, she knew it had to be more than just an event space—it had to have a mission.
Lauren’s journey has always been deeply rooted in giving back. Her heart has been dedicated to underserved communities across the U.S., and her passion for philanthropy is the cornerstone of 42West’s mission. Determined to make a meaningful impact, Lauren created a venue that would serve as both a stunning event space and a platform for giving back.
As part of her commitment, 42West is proud to offer its venue at reduced rates and no cost to qualified non-profits in the metro Atlanta area based on availability, date and timing of event. Unlike many event venues that offer minimal discounts on less desirable dates, 42West is dedicated to offering prime dates and times to non-profits — ensuring that these organizations can host their events in a truly special space. MEET LAUREN
Lauren Pelissier, founder of the non-profit S’more Smiles, brings a wealth of experience and a heart full of passion to everything she does. Originally from Southern California, Lauren’s love for summer camp started when, as a 6-year-old, she ventured into the world of camp for the first time. What started as a hesitant experience blossomed into a lifelong calling, as she became deeply committed to both event planning and providing camp opportunities for underprivileged children.
For nearly two decades, Lauren worked with various non-profits to connect children with disabilities and underserved communities to camp experiences. Her commitment to giving back led her to found S’more Smiles, a non-profit that brings joy to children in hospitals by providing fun-filled experiences. Today, Lauren continues to combine her love for children, event planning, and philanthropy with her work at 42West, ensuring that every event held at the venue has a meaningful impact.
